I sold my 3rd gen Tacoma and I'm looking at 4runners again. What is changing in '20? Should I wait a couple more months?

The TSS was nice on my Tacoma. I'm looking used also, but not having much luck.

I just did the same thing, traded my 3rd gen tacoma for 19' 4Runner TRD Off-Road Permium. The only thing I miss is the smart key, push button start/door handle. The 4R is better everywhere else.

    Yes it is!
We heard of the 2020 changes coming (when we bought in March); 2019 MBM TRD off road premium.
If the changes are true for the 2020 model.
The 2019 is the last of the "mechanical" modern T4R'S.
I hope they offer a package without all that :crapstorm: if you use your truck off road a tree or bush may effect your ability to move forward.
    I smell a mess...
    :annoyed:

    That cannot be a T4R!?
    It is a crossover...
    That is hideous.

If I understand correctly (hope I do) that's the Rav4TRD. One of the reasons I kicked Chevy to the curb was they replaced the Blazer/Trailblazer with these unibody girlie crossovers. The 4Runner is my last hope for a manly looking midsize SUV. Even if I am mostly just a concrete commando, I wanna look cool.

There are no indications for significant changes. I think Toyota is thinking is time to dispose of body on frame hence changes may be 2/3 years down the road.
