    Holy shit!

This is what you have to do to change the trans fluid?

Toyota might as well require you to complete a calculus equation and do a backflip before you're allowed to loosen the drain plug

How about the internal trans filter? Always a good idea to drop the pan, clean the pan and magnet, inspect for anything that doesn't belong in there, and change the filter.

5,000 mile checkup yesterday. I should have marked the tires to make sure they did rotate them (I really don’t trust dealers). I asked the cost to have a TPSM on the spare tire: $225!!!! Never mind. The evil empire sells them for $30.

Can you provide details on the harness issue you mentioned? I have not heard of this but want to educate myself for the future.

Well this POS lasted about five minutes until the adhesive tape gave way and let go. So I used the better 3M adhesive tape. I'll let it set up all night before I put any weight on it. If it doesn't hold then I guess I'll return it. This is the only place I put it that doesn't bug me. I'll have to make it work somehow or I'll probably have to trade in the 4Runner.

One for my coffee tumbler.... One for my cold tumbler.... I actually use both.

It's going back anyway. Just won't stick to the side. I'll figure something else out.

    Ordered these RAM Mounts instead.

    Congratulations & welcome from Nebraska!
I love your color combo. You got the black roof rails, the beautiful white with the gray wheels.
Not sure why I like the gray wheels (over the black) so much more! I am glad they came on ours also.

Good luck not going poor from mods.
I want our build done! It never ends & we have only had it 3 months!
If you are going to build it; please start a thread! I would love to see it.
    Congratulations again!

    Laptop mount...?
I thought it was for your phone?

On a side note. A family friend is a private pilot (owns a personal plane). He has a velcro strap that he used to use for his Ipad.
It would just velcro around his left leg & he could see all air traffic & a lot more (5 yrs ago).
He is currently building another so this will likely be obsolete.
For us, using an old iPad with velcro may be a great idea for paths etc.
    Any pilots on here?

I’m eyeing a black SR5 with the grey TRD wheels at my local dealership. Just cloth seats but has the roof rack and rails...Pretty good price...And I’m sure it will be even cheaper in a few short months...

We weren't set on leather (vinyl).
However after thinking about cleaning & the sunroof. We had to spend the extra $2k for the ORP premium & got both!

Well, I’ve rarely used the sunroof. Except for standing out of riding down the rode after a bachelor party years ago. It’s caulked shut now. And I like the SR5 and the simplicity of it over all....

    Not knockin your choice.
Just making sure you were aware.
Buy what you want & like (especially if you know what you want). I bet it won't stay stock for long anyway!
Go buy it & love it.

Well, is the 2020, going to be an awesome Olive drab like real Army green? Or a sharp, crisp, Hunter green, I don’t really like?

I really like the gray wheels on both rigs above. If I didn't have trail wheels, I would go with those.

Pretty sure that's mislabeled as their laptop mounts are way more expensive. This seat bolt mount will work with their phone holders and their tablet holders.
