    Hey Everyone,

I'm new to this Forum and am looking into buying my first lift kit. Recently purchased a 2015 4Runner Trail and want to go out with my Jeep buddies. I found this company that uses black coilovers / shocks. The Company is called Pure Performance and they have a good amount of Toyota suspension. This kit costs a bit over $2K and I will be installing myself. Anyone familiar?

    Thank you,
    - JB

Quick google seems like a lot of Dodge's use um. Not that this helps any.

Don't know anything about their product, but you will also need UCA's with a 3" lift in front.

Yeah I am seeing a lot of Dodge 2500 and Super Duty kits on their website.
I mean what strikes me is their dual rate front coils and triple rate rear coils...

I just graduated with my Mech. Engineering degree so that type of stuff appeals to me.
I will have to look into UCA's. There are quite a few options out there I just have to see which ones will fit in my price range.
ICON has some good looking UCA's but I am trying to keep it under $700...not opposed to mixing and matching kits but it's better to get everything in one package.

Haven't heard of Prodigy... looks like a good setup. Might want to consider a Diff drop as well as the UCA's. I have the ICON Stage 2 w/UCA's and it was about that price I believe..

I know ICON has been around for some time now and they have a lot of history at this point. I called the guys at PP today and they released these - (https://pure-performance.biz/produc...-2010-pres-4-runner-2010-pres-fj-cruiser.html). I did confirm they moved the ball joint point back so my Runner can get aligned to factory after. I'm going save up a few paychecks and continue researching.

Justin, I got a quote from a local shop for a lift kit, and at first I wanted to go with Icon stage 7 but he advised me not to go with them. They have pretty much become like a walmart where everyone wants a pair and their quality has suffered due to that. I am not 100% sure how accurate he is, but he is a toyota specialist and thats all he works on. So I will be looking for another brand of lift kit. I know I do want some heavier duty springs due to the fact we carry a lot of stuff when camping and looking into the future with armor, bumpers, rack and possible RTT.

o_O... Interesting...advised you against an ICON Stage 7..? Aren't those like 6-7 K..? Hopefully he talked you down a bit... unless you plan on doing a lot of baja racing and such that would be a bit of over kill...

If they are popular there will be more out there...thus he will see more of them in the shop..? just sayin

I'm a little biased as you may have guessed.... I just cant say enough about the ride that my Icons provide both off and on the road. I recently had one of mine rebuilt which was kind of a PITA...but so worth it.
