Other people might be jealous of your awesome truck, so you'll have to deal with that.

Trying to figure out what the little compartment on the console behind the shifter is for.

These are the only issue I'm aware of:D

So you're already used to it.

Seriously, though, I can't think of any real complaints.

The biggest issue I have is that they will no longer be produced in 20 + years when I am ready for a new one.

We were loaned (from dealer a stock SR5 that wiggled at 50 mph+) no clue & no care.
Ours is fine & only issue is the current amount of accessories we want and the restraint to take another loan just to build this beast!
I came from 3/4+ ton diesels and this is my favorite.
I may consider my trucks done & invest in our 5th generation T4R!

I'm pretty sure there has never been a problem with a 5th gen in the history of 5th gens.

Was averaging 14-15 until I added the winch and bumper. Now average 12.

Yeah I have been reading a lot of mixed feelings on the mileage estimates. I do like the 18/20 I get around town with the Tacoma and the 21/22 even 23 I have achieved on the hwy.

Get it out on a test drive and lightly let off the throttle and feather the throttle on/off between 55-75mph. Do it at different speeds in the range-- to make sure you're not getting one with a howling differential.

I have had both a 2017 Tacoma and now my 2017 4Runner. Both stock tires. With my driving patterns I got about 19 mpg combined city/HWY with the Tacoma and about 17 mpg combined with my 4Runner. FYI for comparison.

I have stock size KO2's and a roof basket. Plus, I am always hauling a little extra weight. I'm averaging ~17.5 combined and as high as 21.4 highway. I am NOT a leadfoot, though... Usually.

I picked up this 2019 SR5 a month ago and have been loving it. It's stock and I get around 18.5mpg combined. I have zero issues with the vehicle.

I think the Entune has a lot to be desired the 3rd gen tacomas are much better imo....

The interior needs a major update

What does Entune even do? The radio plays just fine. :notsure:

An the difference in mileage between the 4 and the Taco is the difference between a truck motor and a Camry motor. Toyota tried to increase the mileage on the new Tacos and they succeeded, but in my opinion they screwed it up.

Not sure of the cause but it usually lessens as i drive. Some say its my tires working out a flat spot from sitting still. My 15 tacoma did it as well. Ill let you know when i figure it out. Maybe its just a good old fashioned unbalanced tire

Mine seems to do it on certain sections of road also around the towns I drive. An I just had my tires rotated and balanced and it is worse after that so I think I'm going to take it back and have them rebalanced.

The maintenance section. Everything you need to know right there. No more maintenance logs.
