What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

You can get an eye doctor to sign an application for photophobic eyes. Then it’s listed on your registration as “sunshading”?

 

They are the first thing I did when I got mine and I’ve yet to be pulled over.

 

So..... What's the info? What type and percentage of tint? Since the Driver's window is a little yellow to start with, did you do anything different on that one? I found out in Washington you only need to let in 25% light. But that's really dark and makes looking out the windows difficult.

 

Honestly I have no idea and didn't ask. I just asked him to match the back and he did. It's much darker inside now though and it's awesome.

 

It's been a long 13,000 mile wait on the stock tires, but I finally got my 285's installed. Firestone Destination A/T's. They ride great and fit the wheel well very nicely.

 

upsized my tires too after only 2300 miles. Ko2 275 , went with White letters out!

Installed my orangeboxx window Molle and put some new blueridge overland gear bags in it! I really like the TRD on the orangeboxx but the Victory4x4 on the driver’s side doesn’t stick out as much.
I also got my AJT battery tie down put on.

OMU lift delivered Thursday. New 20x9” fuel wheels and BFG ko2’s already mounted with new TPM sensors waiting to be delivered any day. And this truck is only a week old today.
After that, i think she’s wanting a new subwoofer installed, and some sort of aftermarket front bumper. Oh, new blackout pieces for all the chrome emblems are on order, too.

How ya like the tires? Do you get much road noise?

 

I plan to get 15 percent on all windows. But in florida its almost never we get ticketed for tint. Because sunshinestate.

 

The cops don’t mess with us either. My wife’s other car has the blackest of windows and cops have never said a word any of the times she’s been pulled over.

I had them on my 15 Colorado Z71 and loved them over the Duratracs, quiet enough for a AT tire, great traction. The Duratracs hummed more and more as they wore and didn't perform well for me in wet slippery roads so ditched them after 15K and went with the KO2's then. This time, it was between these or the General Grabber for me. Went with what I know. Slim pickings in 275 70.
