35s with lift

Just got my Runner and im looking to ruin 35. was just curious what is the smallest lift I can put on her to not cut everything?

 

So how big will the lift need to be if I didn't want to do is chopping?

 

About 6” and still depends on wheel offset

 

Okay thanks this is my first time building an off-road vehicle I'm running 17in Wheels and I was thinking 35 Duratrax

 

Does anyone have any input or suggestions for 6 inch lift

No idea if it fits Pro.

Guess the question is do you really need 35's since this is your first build?




Well I read better it doesn't fit Pro models.

 

Doesn't fit according to the site. I jumped the gun before I read all the warnings.

 

I dunno why. Footnote 168 says no to Pro's.

 

This is my first build but not my first off road vehicle I would like 35

Honestly sounds like you just want it for looks and not a need. I'd do a little digging to see what you really need and build off that.

Here in Hawaii we have tons a 4runners that are overkill and just for paved roads.

This is NOT mine.

 

Was thinking of rear gearing for 35s I'm trying to build an Overland vehicle for cruises Etc basically a trail rig

 

33's can get you a lot of places.

But good luck if you set on 35s.

 

My original plan was 33 that's what I had on my 2nd gen do you guys think 6in with 35s is too big?

 

I think you need to size the lift/tires for your needs. I'm not all for the biggest just because. But it is your truck.

I did not want to go super huge I just didn't know if 33 is was going to be enough

 

As far as the lift goes if I decide 33s 3-inch lift?

 

285s fit

I have very minor rubbing on the body mount but I'm almost certain I can get an alignment shop to add more caster I can clear.

 

If this is your first Offroad vehicle I would advise just using it Offroad and letting your experience dictate what you mod. Unless your just wanting to look cool in the mall parking lot, then I guess whatever floats your boat pimpin.
