Looking for something durable of course and aesthetically pleasing. I strongly prefer a kit that comes prefabricated because I have little access to welding services.

It would say it on the sticker and you would have these shock boot looking things on your sway bars...like this...[IMG]

I just installed these RSG sliders and I'm very happy with the quality. Installation was simple and they're compatible with KDSS.

@BAMF also makes 5th gen sliders for both KDSS equipped and non KDSS equipped. KDSS sliders are 100% bolt on.

Unfortunately, @BAMF doesn’t offer sliders for the Limited’s yet due to the XREAS piping.

I can’t speak for other fabricators though.

Awesome! I recommend installing the driver's side first. You have to modify the KDSS skid plate slightly, and un-bolt the hydraulic lines. Passenger side is a piece of cake.

Unless you don't have KDSS. Then both sides are probably super easy

I don’t have the KDSS. What am I missing out on? The RSG sliders look nice.

It's a pretty ingenious system that allows the sway bars to flex where they attach to the frame. It allows greater articulation while off-roading.

It also allows the use of stiffer sway bars so the truck rolls less while cornering at speed.

There are a ton of brands that make sliders but I went with with RCI for multiple reasons.
    - They are a local small business.
    - I can pick up in person to save on shipping.
    - They do group buys to bring the cost down.
    - I’ve always really liked the visual profile of the kickout on their sliders, they are in my opinion the best looking sliders on the market.
    - They are one of, if not the, strongest set of sliders out there. They have a 2" square main tube (vs. the common 1.75" round tubes) that is angled on the ends to avoid hang ups, 1.75" DOM outer rails are standard instead of HREW like most companies (DOM has a ultimate strength of 82,300 PSI while HREW is 65,000 PSI), there are 4 legs on each side with 1/4" steel gussets each one of them, and its full length frame plate mounting that is completely bolt on. They did not skimp anywhere, badass product for sure!

That’s the beauty of having options. There are a lot of great companies that make great products. It’s up to you to find the product that fits your project the best. We’ve been doing this long enough to know that we won’t satisfy every customer's needs.

Your rig and the Victories are beautiful but seeet Jesus they’re expensive. Required drilling is also a no-go for me.

On the KDSS issue, at what level would I need to be to notice a difference with/without? This may also be a noob question but why the hell would someone be cornering a 4Runner at speed?

The RSG’s are probably my best bet, especially with the coupon code. I know all choices above differ in aesthetics appeal but they all basically perform the same, correct?

They are bolt-on, however, we recommend drilling two holes on the passenger side for the lower mounting bolts for heavy wheeling use. Our sliders are meant for rock crawling and/or to be used as steps, they mount along the side of the frame as well as the bottom. On the passenger side, two of the bolt locations do not exist from the factory. The lower mounting locations are important for added strength and prevent a slider from pivoting up into the vehicle on a full weight drop on the outside edge of the slider.

Both of our slider styles mount in the same way.

The top face of the slider is about 4" wide and works well as a step (I wear 11's).

Call the sales team, I'm sure they'll work out some kind of deal

I cannot afford currently. Maybe soon!
We haven't had the truck a month (I may get divorced!)
If I need to drill, must I tap for a bolt or do you put a nut on the back of it?
    Thanks!

I understand how that goes! Be careful haha.

They use two self-tapping bolts after the hole is drilled.

KDSS is probably more beneficial to people who don't plan on doing any hard-core off roading as those people would probably do a large lift and significant suspension work.

I only do light off roading so i might just level the front out, which won't require messing with the KDSS.

As far as cornering at speed, I'm just referring to going around a bend on a highway, ETC. Vehicles with KDSS will have less body roll. You don't have to drive aggressively for it to make a difference
