Looking for some advice before pulling the trigger on a lift kit.
I’ve somewhat narrowed it down to this BOSS setup
    https://realtruck.com/p/toytec-0-3-...MIv7P76L6K4QIVwoZpCh2sPwn2EAkYECABEgLKDPD_BwE

    And this Bilstein kit
    https://realtruck.com/p/toytec-1-3-adjustable-coilover-lift-kits/v/toyota/4runner/2015/

It says that the Bilstein kit is “maintenance free”
Is that referring to the shocks ability to be adjusted while on the vehicle?

My 2015 TE is also KDSS equipped. Will that be an issue with either of these kits?

Maintenance free would be like you don’t need to grease anything regularly. They should both be adjustable while on the vehicle.
Not sure on the 2 I’ve used bilstein before and like their products I’m not familiar with boss. Hopefully others will chyme in.

The BOSS brand coilovers are our brand, so what we did was paired up with the engineers at Eibach to build and valve the shocks specifically per application. The shocks are double zinc coated, larger 5/8'' thick shock shaft for increased performance and corrosion resistance when comparing to the chrome plated Bilstein shocks. The shock bodies are also threaded for ease of ride height adjustments from 1-3'' in the front end so that way you can fine tune your ride height accordingly/ compensate for any weight you decide to add down the road.

    Thanks
