mine are on powered seats. it helps if you consistently have a gap between your knees and the seat when driving. makes it a bit more comfortable.
IMO, not the amazing game changer that a lot state. But i have my own opinion. Still like that i purchased them, mine are the CTH ones.

I bought a cheap set on Amazon that said the we're machined but when they arrived it was clear that they were cast and not machined. Not trusting that in such a critical safety piece.

One day I want to try them out but what Desert Does It charges for the originals is insane.

One-at-this-price stripper. Bought new 35 yrs ago, a $13K leftover. Added Detroit TruTrac, 1”rear spring spacer and “pinstripes”… Factory AC kit and roof rack bought at dealer cost at time of purchase, still blows ice cold 35yrs later. 2022 AG ORP all stock.
Personal preference, I have my power seat all the way up in front and wish it would go further, these will put me in the middle of my comfort travel.

Curious how these affect the plastic trim on a 2024 TRD Pro 4Runner w/electric seats. I’m on the fence about the need for comfort, but adding the accessory panel would be nice for fire extinguisher and ham radio mounts. My other option is for center console molle panel.

The plastic trim caps reinstall the same but you will expose the carpet edges where they were cut to fit around the seat mounting brackets since the trim caps no longer reach the floor. This may or may not bother you aesthetically.
