TPMS in spare tire on 2022 SR5P

In post #37037 in this thread are instructions on how to install TPMS in the spare tire on a 2022 SR5P. I have just that vehicle. I searched to find this but other searches came up zero for any attempts to do it. Just wondering if anyone has tried it. Apparently works on 2020 + if I understood it correctly.

According to the YouTube video it works on 20 and up models. You just need the TechStream software.

Thanks, I know that, but looking for anyone who has done it to see if there is any further info/tips on the install. Trying not to be the “Guinea pig”. LOL

 

I tried, ended up getting a wheel and tpms from the dealer, I rotate 5 now. They matched Bam Automotives price and programmed it for free since I purchased both from them. $188 for a Pro wheel and $62 for the sensor.
