I usually google discount codes with the name of the company and often times there are some 10-20% off available

Took off the steps, looks so much better to me. Getting ready to spray the underneath. For a 5yo vehicle in the northeast im surprised and thankful its not to bad but i haven’t seen under the spare yet so hopefully thats good also. going to be a long day crawling around getting dirty. Lol.

The discussion in those two links was positive leaning. However everyone will definitely like some more feed back what "it's shit" means to you when the rack arrives.

*edit I noticed the original links were trash.. here are some better ones

It states "no cutting or drilling, bolt on installation", but I sure am curious how the front "mounts" because it looks like there are bolts for the front corners, just like the middle and back, but there are no factory bolt holes in the front.

It probably just rests on the weatherstripping. Im just going to use 3m double sided tape on the front mounts.

Update, it took a long time to cure but it's filled in for the most part, save for a stubborn pit that remains. I'll call it a win but we'll see how it holds up.

Curing is UV activated for most windshield repair solutions. If it was a cloudy day or you did it in the garage this would definitely account for the delay in curing.

What windshield repair solution did you go with?

I previously gathered a bit of information on the topic

I picked up that off-the-shelf RainX kit and did it in some shade in the parking lot but then the sun disappeared and I had to drive.

I touched it up at home and put the curing strip over it as per the instructions. For the next day it sat out in the open on a sunny day but it still seemed liquid-y underneath when I poked at it so that was odd but other than the pit seems done now.

My buddy has an Amazon rack on his 4R and I'm not going to lie I really couldn't tell much a difference between his and my Sherpa when we were ABing them. With Amazon's free returns like you said for $300 bucks its an easy move.
