    Hello,

I am looking for the part number for OEM LED headlight that 2022 models come with to buy a pair for future replacements.

Anyone who can help with this please?

    Thanks.

Not 100% sure but I think the whole headlight assembly has to be replaced.

    It's a whole assembly replacement.

Wait for someone with take offs here or on ebay, I think the OEM source is quite pricey on it. Or you could go after market with Morimotos or something. None of the path is cheap, unfortunately. But unless you are driving hundreds of thousands of miles a year the lights will probably run the life time of the vehicle short of a glitch or if the light gets in a collision or something. The lens may get cloudy over time if always parked outdoors in the sun, that's the only weak spot for these lights that would concern me.

Thanks Fourbelugas. It’s good to know that the OEM bulb lasts long enough to avoid or at least delay costly whole assembly replacements.

It's not technically a "bulb." The individual Light Emitting Diode "chips" are permanently mounted in the housing.

Just replaced mine a couple months back - i dont know how but water got into it. Everyone here is correct, you have to replace the entire unit. I found one on Amazon and its worked flawlessly.

Thanks for sharing the link. Glad to hear that there is an alternative to the pricey dealer parts.

Just an FYI. Instructions online say you have to remove the bumper cover - you do not. If for example you're replacing the passenger side, just undo the passenger side wheel well bumper retainers and the retainers under the hood latch. You will then have enough room to work. My point being is that videos show you taking off the entire cover. You dont need to. I think it took me 45 minutes to do the job

When you took off the bumper retainers and the wheel well bolts, did you pull that part of the bumper cover out and forward a bit to get behind there?

there are a couple bolts beneath the hood latch you have to take out. But you dont need to do the entire bumper. There are a couple in the wheel well, underneath and under the latch. Maybe 10 bolts in total. That will give you enough room to reach the mounting bolt under the headlight.

Nothing is permanent with big enough blow torch and ACME tools.

I actually prefer Binford power tools myself.

What I was getting at is if you take the fasteners off you initially mentioned, would you be able to peel back the one side of the bumper cover from under the headlight? I want to be able to access that clip under the headlight which the bumper cover clips into, without having to take off the entire cover.

Is this what you are talking about? start at the 1:00 mark. Seems like if you don't have the lower cover hanging off somewhat it will block the headlight from being removed?

I'm not interested in removing the headlight, just getting access to the bracket below the headlight that the bumper cover clips into. The video was helpful, though, as right at 1:27 - 1:29 it shows him pulling the bumper cover loose from the PS wheel well and from under the headlight. That's what I was hoping to see.

    Thanks for that.
