I have a 2024 SR5 Stock no lift - just put new tires on and feel an improved ride / handling
Continentals -Terrain Contact H/T . Very happy with these .

Not looking to lift but wondering if an improved / upgrade shock would help mitigate nose dive & body roll -

Any suggestions for Shocks is appreciated , See lots of reviews on Biltsein 5100's but not sure if they fit without a lift ?

Eibach adjustable shocks at standard height. Superior than Biltseins.

The B6 4600’s are the stock height option and cost less than 5100’s. The 5100’s fit without a lift though but I think they level the front.

Just put on a warranty replacement 4600 last night actually. I won't say they make a serious handling difference but they're a plus for a less boaty ride.

I Agree with Lc200 look into Eibach.. give them a call tell them your situation, they will give you options.

You must have never owned both.
Had Eibachs, they used cheaper top hat components that made noise. Eibach doesn’t make 2 1/2” body shocks either with 60mm pistons.
They are valved differently and felt inferior during the same situations.
Bilstein gets my vote hands down and has more options.

Bilstein 6112 with 600lb springs. You’ll need to get rid of the front factory 550lb springs. Pick between 5100 and 5160’s for the rears.

This is what you are looking for.

lots of option between Bilstein, Carli, King, whathaveyou. Just be ready to accept some ride quality as trade off. Monotube shocks without adjustable low speed compression will inevitably be valved heavier and take away small bump compliance.

If you have a chance, test drive a used ORP with KDSS, that is what I have and I have no issues with nose dive or body roll, while still have the OEM ride, and consider a trade-up down the road. I test drove both that and an SR5 and immediately bought a KDSS equipped ORP.

Eibach Sport Truck shocks are very comparable to Bilstein 5100. Both can use the oem top hat, which is what I did. Unless the OP is looking for a complete suspension replacement and some lift, which doesn't seem to be the case, there's no need for new top hats on a 2024. I believe he's hoping for a bit better handling at stock ride height, which either brand shock will provide.

@MFM22 - a lot on here run Bilstein or Eibach shocks with the spring seat set on the 2nd clip, which lifts the front about an inch, for a bit of leveling while leaving some rake to allow for gear and/or passengers' weight. This post has a ton of photos of said Bilstein setup:

Nose dive and body roll are minimally resisted by shocks, mostly by springs.

For the front, cheapest solution is to find some OEM takeoffs from a 3rd gen Tacoma TRD Off Road on FB Marketplace. These come with 717lb/in springs on thin yellow Bilstein shocks from the factory. You can also get the same springs but installed on Bilstein 5100 shocks for better damping.

For the rear, go with a heavy rate spring, for example P/N 2895E from the ostrich brand. I bought the same springs and will be installing them later this year. I too find the 4Runner's boat-like handling objectionable.

bilstein 6112 or 5100 set at 0 for front and 5100 rears will be a huge difference over the oem junk.

I have 5100s on the front of my 2011 SR5 with the stock springs but set at 2 inches lift and it immediately stopped the nose dive. I’m sure if you put it at zero you’ll experience the same result.

Bilsteins get my vote as well. Had them on my 2007, 2011 & 2022, zero complaints

Thanks for all the input . With only 7,500 miles I’m sure the stock springs and shocks have not fatigued and I’m reluctant to dump too much $ into it. I’ve had gen 3 & gen 4 in the past and guess I never noticed the loose handling .
Must be age related lol .
Springs and shocks depending on ratings can be major upgrade , the trick will be to get more stability without too harsh ride .

check out my info page for my 2022 set up. Just got back from a 1100 mile round trip to NC and back to Pa with the family. No complaints from my passengers, but then again they slept most of the way since it was so smooth. Lol!

Welcome! I have a 2022 SR5 Premium 4WD. I had a local off-roading shop install a set of Bilstein model 5100 adjustable shocks for me. Set to lift the front 1.85”, IIRC. No other suspension mods.

I did switch tires though- I went from the factory Dunlop all seasons to Sumitomo Encounter ATs, in the stock 265/70 R17 size, with the SL load rating.

I don’t off road. Not yet anyway. I am however properly exercising my 4WD in 4H and 4L to keep it from freezing up.

I’m very happy with the Bilsteins, and the Sumitomo tires. Never heard of Sumitomo tires? Sumitomo Rubber Company of Japan owns Falken Tire.

5100's are superior to 4600's and do not cost much more. 5100's are also adjustable so you could retain stock ride height or lift it. You can use them on a higher setting and they become a lift. With stock springs the ride will become more stiff.

Bilstein claims neither is "superior" and just that the 4600 is for stock height and 5100 are for those lifted/leveled or may lift in the future.

They also say a 4600 will ride better than a stock-height 5100 interestingly which I haven't ever seen before today.

    https://academy.bilsteinus.com/knowledge/4600-versus-5100

I don't plan to ever lift but do I agree the lift/level-undecided should toss in the extra few bucks to go 5100.

The 5100 has a more durable zinc body compared to the regular painted body of the 4600's. 5100's also feature valving for better ride quality. I have used them multiple times on even un-lifted trucks and were happy with the results. 4600's are great if on a strict budget, but for a couple bucks more my opinion is the 5100's.
