    Hey guys,
My girlfriend has a 5th gen and wants to do a 3” body lift. I have not been able to find one for a 5th gen and I’m gonna guess there’s a reason. Has anyone attempted this on a 5th gen that can offer a little knowledge? Thanks in advance!

    Oooh look, another mod.....
Here's some advice: Don't do it.

Get a 3 inch suspension lift with a 1 inch body lift.

where is the pix of the goods yo
    we like pix
also, no 3" body lift available you would have to make your own
we dont recommend trying to make your own
if its on 38s now, i suspect its likely REALLY close to rubbing even on a 6" with 1" body
Your best bet is by far, work on what you have, get custom rear springs, sway bar drop brackets, panhard bar drop bracket or a Z'd panhard bar, longer brake lines, and stack your lift shocks with old man emu springs, crank the shocks, and live with 40s.
i dont see you cramming 42s unless you decide to go portals
the wheel wells on the 5th gen wont accept a tire that big, so you gotta lift the vehicle WAY UP over the top of the tire to be able to turn, this is why a 42 is going to be tough. You pretty much need the vehicle over the top of the tire and its going to take a lot of lift to make that 4R clear 42s.

TLDR: start saving for portals. They give you 4" lift.
