Nice, I need to get some for the fronts. Had Wet Okle in the front on my Taco ,worked great. Are the Carharts just like the jacket material? They look great

Think the seller had $58 on them...there was a 'make an offer' so I did and they accepted.

What is with that anyway? I saw two newer Jeeps the other day, both had plastic ducks strewn across the dash. One was a guy driving...I came from the Jeep world back in 2019 after having driven one or another for around 30 years and don't remember ducks being a thing.

30 years ago it wasn't a thing... it roughly started around 2020

So like most things, what started out good hearted and intended to bring a smile has gone WAY too far.. with people simply buying bags of ducks themselves and filling the dash as a "competition".
    https://www.amazon.com/Arttyma-Assortment-Duckies-Ducking-Floater/dp/B0B4KBJ2X1/

For me.. people personalize their vehicles in a variety of ways, you do you. The hazard of a crash or the degraded performance of a defroster (not applicable in warm climates) is just minor inconveniences. Have you seen the molle panels people load up in cabin for the 4runner?

    sort of on topic:

I read somewhere that a woman had so many ducks on the dashboard that it affected the performance of the defroster in a negative way, like it didn’t work. My wife and I play a game on road trips to see / count how many Jeeps have ducks on the dash . We stop at 10 , it’s gets boring quick

Came out of Home Depot one time and had a duck on my door handle with a post-it note "No Jeep but nice truck". Put the duck on the lifted Jeep near me.

    Oooh look, another mod.....
I play a similar game, but it’s called “Give the middle finger to the idiot Jeep driver with ducks on his dashboard.” I started it when I bought my 4Runner.

Now it’s like one of those OSHA signs “0 Days without flipping someone off in traffic.”

If you’re gonna be a bad example, it’s important to be the best bad example that you can be.

I was going back and forth between these and the wet okole ones… i really like those! These carhartt ones are kinda like my carhartt pants and jacket. The rear seats (seat savers) seem to be the same material as the pants/jackets from carhartt. The front ones (“precision fit”) are waterproof and feel different, but look the same. It’s hard to know for sure though since they haven’t been washed 1000 times and aren’t covered in grease and paint like my carhartt jacket and pants, lol.

I only want to do the fronts , have a Weather Tech dog cover for the back seat. It’s in and out a lot for cleaning up after the knucklehead dog. Had Wet Okle in my Taco and liked them, but those Carharts look really nice.

I bought the Morimoto X3B LED to replace the boring factory 3rd brake light, and it's probably going back. They are supposedly "perfect factory fit" but not on my 22 TRD Pro. The factory unit mounts perfectly flush to the underside of the spoiler, and is recessed a bit back from the edge of the spoiler to shield it from water getting between the two. The Morimoto has an obnoxiously large rubber gasket for the wiring plug area that is glued on and prevents you from getting it recessed to the mounting holes. It took two of us, one pushing/holding it in place so the holes would line up, and one to get the screws in. You can see the gap between the top of the light housing and the underside of the rear spoiler, and it does not recess back from the edge of the spoiler, it sits flush to the edge so water can get between it easily. I'm sure this is why they have the crazy thick gasket to prevent water from getting inside the body where the wires come out, but, that is like putting a band-aid on a broken bone. Terrible design, and for the amount of money they charge you'd think they would design these to fit the same (or even better) than the factory unit. And before you ask why don't I take the gasket off or shave it down, I don't want to modify it if it may be going back, they will reject it. Anyone else had this issue and any thoughts? I emailed Morimoto and waiting on a response.

Today I was in my 4rnr and stared at the driver and shook my head is disdain and drove away.

dont like the new look at all. Even the rear hatch window is smaller. Ugh!

maybe a mirror was involved or something? I mean, I’ve definitely shaken my head in disdain while looking in the mirror. I guess it depends who the driver was

6”. It Articulates great. I can’t say enough good things about it. It felt high when I first got in. Now I don’t even notice. I hate the flat top hair cut look of any truck lifted off the frame. This lift hugs the frame, but makes room for everything. Hell, I could have put 37s on, but I didn’t want to over tax the tranny and factory gears, anymore than 35s. It drives great. If you turn as sharp as you can. Even when it’s on uneven ground it’s more than 3” away from touching anything.

Ok , the Cali Raised Premium Roof Rack came in finally. 42” double spot beam. I put it together and stuck it on. I really like it. It’s made well. And has a place for everything. Ordered the 4 pod lights for the side rails. Should be here in a couple days.
