I’m planning to upgrade tire size soon and relocating the windshield washer tank is next on my to-do list. I’ve research the available ones on market, ruled out the Expedition One due to the location and modifications required. Curious if anyone has any of the kits below and could offer feedback? Thanks!

OEM is roughly 1 Gallon from my research (4 Quart’s / 3.78 Liters).

    ----

    Snowbound Customs
    • 2.75 Quarts (2.6 L)
    • Relocates between bumper & front radiator.
    • No modifications to factory pumps/connections
    • Aluminum construction
    • $329

    Rago Fabrications
    • 2 Liters (2.12 Quarts)
    • Requires bending power steering coolant line
    • No modifications to factory pumps/connections
    • Relocates between bumper & front radiator
    • Aluminum construction
    • Known to have clearance issues with aftermarket bumpers, behind grill lightbars, winches, etc.
    • $275

    Scarab Off-Road
    • 3 Quarts (2.8 L)
    • Requires modification (extension) of factory connections/harness by way of cutting/splicing.
    • Relocates into the back of the engine bay where often people have second batteries or air compressors installed.
    • Plastic bottle, aluminum bracket
    • $135

I have the snowbound customs, beautiful welds. Should note that its pretty far offset from the radiator so doesn't affect air flow.

I got it because it was designed with aftermarket bumpers in mind and fits perfectly with my Lilb bumper with a winch, and plenty of space to add the Iconic Fab transmission bracket + cooler as well.

The pump electrical wires on my 4R was were a little stretched but everything fit without modifications. You do need to be a little careful with the AC lines it does get pretty close I added some rubber hose just loosely but no issues with it and been on for over 2 years now.

Appreciate the feedback. I'm leaning towards this one as well, in case I get a lo-pro bumper & winch in the future, or need the transmission cooler.

Is yours visible from behind the grill? Did you paint it, or leave it aluminum?

Mostly covered by my bumper, you can see it peaking a little bit.

But its too nice to rattle can it, maybe just wrap it or use some neoprene rubber if you are worried about it sticking out with your darker paint, I have white so its not too bad
