Love my new gen 6 limited hybrid

All has been very good, except fuel mileage. All the reports said this setup would get approx 23 in town and on Hwy. I have had this vehicle for 3 months and the best I have averaged is 18.6 mpg in town or hwy. But it does tow like a champ. I pulled a 23ft 5,500lb boat to the beach last week and it handled it extremely well. A bunch of torque. As expected it was thirsty towing that much weight 9 mpg.

 

Congrats. If you aren't calculating by hand/app I would recommend it like Fuelly to get more data points in there and reduce error from the computer estimate.

 

I am going by what the gauge data is reporting and mileage / fill up calculations

Can you check your front grille emblem, turn on your headlights, does the emblem glow white?

It does not

 

White, with tan interior looks great ! I had a 2006 Limited for 14 years. Possibly the best vehicle I have ever owned.

 

4th gen’s were so solidly built; except when it came to rust. Rust is the killer of those. I miss my 03 with the V8.

 

Swapped my illuminated TRD sport premium chrome for illuminated dark Lexis chrome. 15min install and looks great. Since these come with a harness ( I didn't use) it likely will plug n play with a vehicle that didn't come with one. SR5?

It hooks up and lights up when you cut the lights on
