It may get a Tacoma like panel and that may be a cluster out of a Prado or Hilux.

Not holding my breath on this one.

No diesel, small diesel engines in the US make zero sense

I doubt it! But would be funny since Ford is moving away from diesels in their work van and truck fleet.

As one who owns diesel 2500 Chev. I can say that at the present time diesel is not all it's cracked up to be. Unless you are hauling heavy loads and need that torque, diesel is a waste of money. They cost 5,000 more than gas initially, and in my area at least, diesel is .60 a gallon higher than gas so even though the diesel usually gets better mileage, there is no savings. In fact there is a constant deficit.

Yeah they ruined diesel in the US. An I remember when it was a lot cheaper than gas. It also costs less to refine diesel and it pollutes less to refine it. They ruined it

diesel makes sense in the US. Its just that they tax the hell out of them and the fuel. Diesels are more efficient and more powerful. I don't understand why the US puts so much unreal legislation against them. They should be replacing all gas engines

They taxed them because they are more efficient. Efficiency doesn’t make oil companies more money.

Here's an actual factory diesel toyota truck. My friend built it for his son. It's won several trophies.

That looks amazing! There’s a double cab Hilux that runs around Frankfort KY that’s a diesel.
