Good point on the breather! That would be something to check right away. If it happens to be clogged, unclogging might reduce or maybe eliminate the leak.

Checked the breather, it moves up and down, spins freely, is that a good test?

Any benefit with hitting it with brake clean or throttle body cleaner?

Called a few Toyota and Lexus dealers, the breather (part number: 90930-03211) is on back order with no ETA. A tad bit reluctant to interact with a 9 year old plastic part without having a spare to replace it with.

Any instructions on removing / replacing this part? I see lots of rear dif breather video's but nothing for trans breather.

What about replacing the Toyota one for DIY one by adding tubing and installing another filter? I did this when i replaced the Toyota Secondary Air Injection filter, removed the original foam and installed a K&N one.

I am monitoring the oil, its next to non around that bolt and my last drive was one hour of busy city driving.

I just remembered something, when starting the drain and fill, i drained the ATF (got about 3 quarts) only to find out the incorrect washers had been supplied. I left the truck standing overnight until i was able to get the correct crush washers. When i undid the drain bolt to install the correct washer i got another 2 cups, making 3 quarts 2 cups total removed.

When refilling and doing the level check, i noticed that it gave a flow of oil, then lots of trapped air came out, then the trickle. I don't remember having air trapped last time.

In total i refilled the trans 3 quarts and 2 cups as i kept the old bottles and completed the level check procedure at 104F.

Did me leaving standing it overnight having drained the fluid cause any issues or air blocks?
