    Howdy All!
I am pondering getting new tires for my Buggy (2024 Off Road Premium). I have the OEM Dunlop passenger car (LT) tires presently on the deck. Very wimpy for anything much above 20" of powder snow or just asking for a ripped sidewall on a rocky trail. Looking at more aggressive yet manageable on-road tires with achievable decent fuel mileage and 3 Years of serviceability. In addition, I am needing thicker sidewalls for rock resistance as well as deep snow capability(with hidden snags) . Possibly pulling a 1 Ton capable single axle trailer. My thoughts are Michelin Agilis CrossClimate 2 Load range E. These are commercial Light Truck tires with a shallower tread(not mudding here) than some offerings(7/32"). Definitely be used for rocky trail climbing in the Colorado High Country. What are Y'all's thoughts on these tires and the Load Range E application for the 'Runner. My preferred tire was the Nokian Hakkipletta(SP?) Studded, but I would need a second set of rims. I did that with my 4X4 vehicles, when living in the High Country for 40 years. It was an absolute necessity. But I can't swing that now. One set of tires and wheels. TIA for Your thoughts!
    GOD Bless!

I liked the Toyo at3 tires I had on my last vehicle for snow. They were 3 peak rated for snow and drove well on the road and dirt roads. Good sidewall as well.

IMO, Falken Wildpeak AT4 or Rubitreks or Mickey Thompson Baja Boss is the only way to go for “do it all” type of tire.

Im a big Falken WP guy and used them on 07, 11 and 22 4Runners without issue in any type of weather or offroad condition. Running 285/70/17 SL With a fully loaded vehicle of vaca gear and people 4, Ive gotten 19-20 mph on the hwy going from Pa- NC.

TrailSpecial22. Gorgeous Buggy! Love that Color!

Thank You All for Your Kind Comments! My concern is going from LR SL rated tires to LR E1.
I suspect that the ride will definitely be stiff. This vehicle is my "One and Only". Its my grocery getter, commuter and recreational hauler. The reason behind the LR E1 is rocks on trails through the Mountains. Not dirt roads. Left them behind. There are only handful of tires that specify thicker sidewalls. I ain't a Young Stud, anymore. Jumping out and throwing on chains is 1/2 day job for me. Having a torn out or punctured sidewall on an outing is definitely a possibility but not acceptable for me. There are places I desire to visit again, that require more than SL or XL passenger vehicle tires can reliably deliver.

I like the Toyo’s, and am very pleased with mine in a 34”.
