    2018 Toyota 4Runner
    I have a 2018 Toyota four Runner. I went to get out of the front passenger seat and when I opened the door, the car alarm went off (fob was not close by). I quickly shut the door and it locked. Now the door seems to be in a childlock position cannot open it up from the inside even when the door is unlocked, but can open it up from the outside. There is no child lock for the front seats. Any ideas on how to get the door open back up from the inside?

    Sounds like something can disconnected, or broke with the inside door handle. Need to take the door panel off to see if stuff is connected. That being said, could the door alarm disengage the handle?
