    LOL is right...

If I had wanted a LC200 that's what I would have gotten, why are you so worried about what other people spend THEIR money on? Are you strapped? Do you need a little pocket change to carry you over or what?

My wife’s 23 4Runner has a payload of 880 lbs. The 4Runners have never been payload kings. Heck, my BMW M340ix has a 932 lb. payload.

Saw another one! It's nice in bits and pieces. Again, this thing is fast compared to ours.

I saw a white SR5 at Costco. The combination of small tires and the massive black fender flares looks horrendous. :puke:

SR5 4x4’s come off the trucks looking under-tired & weak-kneed. Just delete the black overfenders altogether like Taco SR5’s, leaving it color matched and better proportioned. And no more HT’s pulled from the Corolla Cross. Gen5 SR5’s have a clean 4x4 look because not every 4R owner needs to look like they’re participating in next week’s Monster Jam. Surprised they scrapped that template on Gen6.

The iforce max Trailhunter definitely has the power and plenty of it. I wouldn’t have bought a 4 cylinder if it didn’t. Like many here I had my doubts. I lived in Germany (autobahns with no speed limit) and developed a need for speed that has never been quashed. 100 mph is a Sunday stroll. Don’t travel in the fast lane at 100 mph unless you want to get run over. I also have a camper I take on fishing trips so power is important. Yes, it comes with a hefty sticker price but the payoff for working hard my entire life and driving cheap 4 cylinder cars that have trouble passing on any road has finally paid off. I always wondered what it would be like to pay 75k for a car, now I know. It was worth the wait and the hard work. Gods blessings are awesome and worth the wait but it does require some work and patience on our part.

Yes, there are plenty of people who finance and the interest rates are crazy. Not sure but I think you end up paying double. Out of curiosity I looked at credit card interest rates. OMG there were laws against loan sharking. Where did they go?

I’m abnormal (AbbyNormal). I do believe in saving my money and paying cash. It takes willpower and patience but it pays big dividends in the long run. I know I’m in the minority but that’s cool. I’m flabbergasted by the number of people who do not own their own home when they retire. Did i go without, did I watch while other people bought expensive toys and took expensive vacations? Yes, and it wasn’t easy. Of course I wanted those things too. But God kept his promises and my latter days are much better than former. Patience my friends. As my parents taught me, watch your penny’s and your dollars will take care of themselves. Old fashioned values but they hold more true today than ever before.

Interest rates are a dream compared to when I bought my first vehicle. 17%-18% was the norm.

Thank you and yes I am enjoying. I’m looking forward to taking her on my first off-road adventure. I’m spending a lot of time learning, reading, and I’m going to hit some beginner trails in Park City, UT next month. It’s much cooler in the mountains.

That line was so funny and it has always stuck with me. Not everyone “gets it”. Just us comedy movie buffs.

    It's a classic!

My whole family loves that movie. I can't imagine how many times I've watched it.

Enjoy your 4Runner! Let us know how it does on the trails.
