Lift heights

Im getting 2-3.5 lift installed and I dont know what the best option is or what looks best. Anyone care to share some pictures of your rigs?

 

thats quite a lift range. I wouldnt go any higher than 2.5”. Mine is 2” in the front and 1.5” in rear.

It fits pretty well. Love the color.

 

I studied the formula, did the math a couple times, had my mom check it and I think I know what lift I want.

Every day is a choice. Do I want to drive the 4Runner that can go nearly everywhere, tow a trailer and carry stuff or... Do I want to row the gears and let the tail do the steering?

 

Eibach leveling kit. Love them. Been to Moab, Colorado and Toyota Jamboree and they were solid

Clean. My wallet wouldve loved a leveling kit, but I decided to just waste my cash lol

There was a guy here that was installing a 6” lift. We asked how it turned out and never heard from him again.

Thank you. We off-road and overland. If you aren’t doing that, save your money. There is no benefit if you don’t off road or do it very little.

 

Sadly. Ive already bought it. I did need new springs anyway for my front since I have a prerunner bumper, its a bit heavy so I went ahead and got new suspension for front and back. I plan on getting a lot more in the future

 

depending on the amount of lift, and drop, the formula could check out to equal the same....

lol. I feel ya. Its a rabbit hole EVERYONE here on this site goes through. You bought the prerunner bumper, now you need springs, then you will need bigger tires. Its never ending, trust me, I know. Fortunately, I have a wife who encourages me to do more upgrades.

 

i know buddy. Trust me, I know. Its never ending for me and my upgrades. We installed a roof top tent this past weekend but now our Rough Country awning wont fit so now i am fabricating sliders and attaching the awning to the sliders. It never ends with the mods . Fortunately, I have a wife who encourages me to do more "investments" in it. But yeah, its never ending and i think you 4R looks sweet

Oh i know lol. You seem to be experienced. I dont know a lot of people to ask but, should I run a 3.5 inch lift in the front and 3 in the back. And will they be able to fit 33s?
