Had the windows tinted on the TuRD. 35% driver passenger, 50 windshield and sunroof, 60 over the factory privacy glass. Think i also sold a magnuson supercharger to a FJ owner, whose been on the fence about them. Pics with our star in super nova mode.

I'm on the fence as well, been watching a lot of reliability videos with good info. I think the price barrier is the last barrier... I just need a good discount code some place .

URD has free shipping. Everything you need is in the box besides some new coolant. Watch jaibreaks vids on tubeyou and install yourself. Hardest part for me was removing the crank pulley, i was to lazy to pull the radiator so my impact wouldn't fit. I bought a Milwaukee cordless impact (was cheaper than an air set up) and zipped it out.

Changed oil, rear diff fluid, rotated tires, lubed driveline, changed air filter, cabin filter and vacuumed inside.

Tomorrow she gets a bath. And I sweat off about 5 lbs. lol!

I cleaned up the back and this is a "in the middle" picture.. Not seen are the ladder, test rigs, cable, etc... Yes, there are a lot of Gatorade bottles because I work in the Florida heat.

Drove to Nashville today and back. Took a good friend up to Vanderbilt medical for a check up. Stopped at this place called McKay's (if your from Nashville area, I'm assuming you know about it). It's like a Goodwill of sorts, but better quality stuff (not the best comparison but closes thing I can think of right now). But they had 2 floors of electronics, books, puzzles, board games, toys, musical instruments, and etc. literally a "mish mash" of whatever. Most of the stuff was way discounted. Some stuff they were proud of. And then we stopped for lunch at this place called "Chex Grill and Wings." They had a sauce called "strawberry heat." Depending on your tolerance for heat, it wasn't too bad. But I settled for their Cajun ranch sauce. Soooo good.

And saw plenty of TN HWP out today.

But overall, it was a good day.

My mechanic said they are fantastic as far as reliability goes but that when you add that percentage of HP on the rest of the truck it will cut down on the longevity of our trucks. I really would like the extra HP but I am wanting this to be my last purchase of a vehicle. I’m 64 now and God willing don’t have too much time left on this rock.

All the more reason to get one. They only add 5lbs of boost and the tunes are very conservative. They do require premium fuel for the octane.

Happy 4th of July everyone. I finally got around to verifying that new heavy duty lift supports can lift 2 gallons of water. A little more effort is required initially to get the hatch to open, maybe the first 4-6 inches then it goes up quicker than the OEM struts did with nothing on the rear hatch.

I got this from Robert’s Sales in Denver. They specialize in popups only. Been in business for 50 years. Mine is a 2022 206 STSE model. St means the storage box & se is the sports package. I just paid it off. It was $16k with my $3k down payment. I’m glad I got it 2 years ago. MSRP was $22k before discounts.

No AC, that was another $3k & I really didn’t want a massive hole cut into the roof. I plan to buy a portable ac unit anyways. It’s got an 18000 btu furance for those cold Colorado nights. I love that it’s higher off the ground & more clearance. The majority of MAC popups are super low without the sports package wheels & lift. Mine is 2,200 lbs dry.

Roberts Sales is great. Here’s the online brochure. It’s even got hot water & that new car smell still!

Yes, also a positive selling point is that even if the Mag.SC dies while out and about it does not stop the 4R from still running.
I have considered this and more in making decision but still want one none the less. :)
It realistically is the only mod I have not done yet.

Working on changing out the Fox for 6112. Still on factory UCA’s not sure if this bushing is supposed to look like it’s leaking? At 34k miles.

I could be wrong, but I think it does stop running if you throw a belt or something happens with the rotors internally.

what busing are you talking about? Or are you talking about the ball joint boot. I would just clean it off with some brake clean and monitor it. It’s just grease inside.

Yes. Is it supposed to look like this. Doesn’t seem to have much grease inside.

I’m having trouble finding the bolt — fully threaded — at BelMetric, though McMaster has it in packs of five and my local Fastenal has them individually.
Once I get this mod done, I too would be tempted to make up some parts kits for others if there’s enough interest.

My plate is here and I’m gathering hardware. I expect to have the job done by next weekend.

McMaster Carr is where the bolts were sourced from. The other various parts from both places.

I trimmed the lower bumper on my 2024 Limited 4X4 and installed a TRD skid plate along with a set of Apex Overland front recovery points and a couple of Factor 55 shackles.

Previously, I installed a light bar behind the lower grill and a couple of amber Baja Design Squadron Sport fog lights behind the middle grill. I also installed a set of ditch light brackets and a couple of clear Baja Design Squadron Sport lights. These lights are all controlled with a Garmin Power Switch kit from Blaze Off Road. Finally, I installed a Heritage grill.

It’s still a work in progress and I plan on changing the wheels and tires and installing a Sherpa Crestone roof rack.
