Selling my 2016 4RUNNER Limited. We were planning to sell it and purchase a 2019 TRD Pro 4RUNNER when my son wrecked it. The truck has been fully repaired and looks as good as new. There was no frame damage in the accident, but CARFAX lists two repairs (LT Apron Assy and LT Hinge Pillar) as structural damage. The total cost of repair was $14k and was primarily cosmetic. Pictures include pre and post repair. Truck looks and drives as good as new (inside and out). All maintenance performed on schedule by Toyota Dealership. The majority of the miles are highway mileage as my wife commuted from SC to Atlanta weekly. KBB values the truck at approximately $32,000 not accounting for the accident. We are asking $29,750 OBO.

We're motivated to sell quickly. I'll pay a $250 finders fee to anyone on the forum that refers the final buyer!

Is there any reason why you wouldn't consider keeping the truck as-is? The Limited is actually much more nicely appointed than the Pro (heated and cooled seats, better HVAC, full time AWD/4WD).

All of the Pro accessories, with the exception of the shocks, are purely cosmetic and can be swapped on very easily. About the only thing that the Limited is not equipped with is a factory rear locker.

All in all, you could put together something that would look and perform just like the Pro for less than a few thousand bucks. Even with selling the truck at your asking price, you'll need to finance $15-20K for the Pro.

Have the pics showing the damage pre repair? That would be more helpful to educate a potential buyer.

There’s one on the link. Someone came across the double line didn’t they? Ha its been happening to me once a week. You got to be smart and use slower roads whenever possible. If you can’t get to a road with a median.

Limiteds are the ugliest ass 4runners around imo. Old people and soccer moms drive them to get groceries. Get the Pro and get her dirty like God intended.

You can't get groceries in yours? Man, the Pro is less capable every day.

OP, can you please consider including the Carfax report with your listing? Either link it directly or copy as a PDF and host it somewhere like Google drive.

It will help people be more informed about the severity of your accident, whether airbags were deployed, etc.

OP hasn't been back responding yet. I get they only posted yesterday afternoon but if you're going to make an inquiry like that got to stay right on it and follow up as required. Whatever just my opinion, maybe their busy.

Should be a minimum post requirement for BST like other sites to avoid people joining to use as Craigslist.

That idea has definitely been tossed around. The biggest issue is that I actually want a white PRO and wrapping to white would eat up most of my "If you just made a 'Limited Pro' budget"

Thanks, but that's actually less that Toyota offers on the trade in...

They're in the Cars.com listing, but I'll post here too. Sorry!

Actually, he swerved to miss a deer, and went ditch diving. Drug the drivers side down the embankment.

Sorry. My evening got away from me and I didn't get a chance to get back online.

Not so sure you'd sell it on a site like this. Trade it or list it locally where you live in my opinion. Thanks for all the clarifications though.

When I sold my Tacoma, the most serious buyers came from the forums (and ultimately left with a TW member). Craigslist and Facebook seemed to bring lowballers and people with terrible communication skills.

You'll lose a lot more money on a trade, the convenience is nice though.
