Looking to swap my non scoop (black) sr5 hood for a scooped in the Texas area. Pretty decent condition, no major scratches

    HAVE: 2016 black non scoop
    WANT: 5th gen black scooped

One of the reasons I chose the SR5 over the OR was that I didn’t want a fake hood scoop.
Plus it has been reported by several OR owners that the scoop causes sun glare.

Yeah I’ve seen that quite a bit. I think for me the look/want is a lot more than my care for the glare lol

Correct. Looks cool, really can be annoying with glare. Ask me how I know...............

Don't give a damn about "looks". Do care about the sun reflecting in my eyes. I would dearly love to find someone with a silver non-scoop hood who'd like to trade for my scooped hood!

He'll probably see right through that challenge. No way he's gonna let you in on his secret of always keeping the sun behind him.

You'll be the only one if you do find one. I don't think anyone has ever connected via that thread LOL.

Or just stop at your local wrap/tint shop :)

Was one of the first things I did after seeing the glare.

I have a 24 sr5 with 30k id swap you hoods… but I don’t know where to begin? I live in south Florida and I see mountains in your pic. If you’re interested, and it’s easy to do, like diy friendly to line it up etc, I’d have to have my dad help me but hey, what can go wrong?

condition is good, I won’t like and say excellent. Right above the hood latch area, it looks like mf girlfriend put her keys on the hood ‍♂️ but I haven’t taken a buffer and some cutting grit to it. I’m sure it would come out.
