    Also have this...thought it was tires, Got new tires and still happens every now & then. Seems to be when braking above 50-60 mph 80% of time

    @Tonnnks,
    When was the last time you inspected brake pads and rotors?
    How many miles since changed and how hard are you on braking?

    rotors and pads. USUALLY that is a sign of warped rotors.

    No hard braking, however the brakes are rotors are original and I am at 80k.

    Sounds like its time to replace the brakes and rotors.

    Thanks

    Steering wheel shake can be caused by tire balance. If your tires are AT or chunky balance at least every other rotation. I bought lifetime rotation and balance when I upgrades to AT from the All Season stockers. I do my oil change and tire rotation in same week.

    have two vechiles doing the same thing.they have good michelin tires and had the rotors turned in the past year.neither driver is hard on the brakes.maybe the rotors just are not good on these models.but there is still some steering wheel shimmy at times without brakeing.
