Can anyone confirm CV Axles 43430-60083 fit GEN4s?

I see loads and loads of posts saying GEN5 CV Axles fit GEN4s.

BUT, I also noticed that something changed in 2023, when up until 2023, the GEN5 CV axles were sold as left and rights (43430-60081, 43430-60082). Now we have the single CV axle (43430-60083) that fits both Left and Right.

So it seems there's little doubt 43430-60081 and 43430-60082 fit GEN4s, but has anyone actually installed the 43430-60083?

Even CVJ shows it 9808s as being compatible 2003 - 2022 (not 23,24)

[The remans, 43430-60084, seem completely gone. I would totally go this route is still an option.]

    Thoughts?

All I get is this little box?!
Minor part number changes. Right and left have always been the same. No personal experience but I have used the 5th gen boots on my 4th Gen axles.

OP, did you ever have any luck? I am supremely bummed that the 5th Gen reman's aren't available anymore, and I called a dealership here in Denver to confirm. I've had such terrible luck with CVJ's red silicone boot, but I did at least get the Toyota OEM Plastic outer boot last time and that is still holding up. I've rebuilt CV's once before 15 years ago on my 3rd gen and swore I'd never do it again. But now...I might have to if I want that 5th Gen OEM plastic inner boot with the extra rib and what not.

I had luck, but it was bad. I went with 2 CVJ 9808Ts. I bought these from a guy who bought them a year ago, and never installed. So they were "new" but had been sitting around for 1 year. At any rate, I installed both, but one had a huge hole in the CV boot, and spun out all the grease very quickly. So, I pulled it, and used a re-boot kit for oem cv axles. It sucked. I just could not get one of the clamps back on, so I went with a set of screw clamps from ebay for toyota cv axles. That worked.

So I reinstall the CVJ axle, but boogered up the threads, so the axle nut would not go back on. I ended up going to NAPA and buying one of theirs, which was easy to install.

I really should have just gotten the NAPA ones to begin with. It was really a piece of cake to seat the hog ring.

    Thanks for reading my rant.

Oh man, thanks for the reply! That sounds like my kind of luck! I feel for you. I'm glad you got it sorted out at least. I bought one of these CV band tools years ago and it really does wonders for getting the nice fancy bands back on if you ever need to do this again in the future: https://www.amazon.com/GearWrench-3191-Joint-Tightening-Wrench/dp/B0002SRDDC/

Hope the NAPAs treat you well! I wonder if the threads on the CVJ/OEM ones can be fixed? Those things are worth a decent amount for sure.
