Installed longer rear links. OEM were a little short with my 1.5" lift and WAY too short when I was lifted 3" All the aftermarkets are high priced, these are stock 3rd gen rear links. about 1 1/6" longer than 5th gen links and about $33 a pair on Amazon. Don't mind the filth. I keep it spotless but it's been too damn cold here to wash anything.

I got the 15 piece set off eBay for $105 shipped. The users name is delkrikit and they had great reviews. One of the only places I was able to find the whole kit without buying SR5 kit and TRD Off Road kit individually. Saved about $30-$40 this way.

Worked all weekend. But I did get my low beams adjusted.
After the low beam HID swap, I took a cruise to the AMPM to grab a soda and check em out. I had one person flash me. So, i lowered them Friday on site. Happy to say, 44 miles one way to work, about 90 there and back, not a single complaint/flash, and I'm still super happy with the visibility.

Soooooo much gooder than the OEM turds.

    Super happy with em.

I FINALLY found the 4 "H Block" parts missing from my roof rack. 2 in North Carolina, 2 in Tennessee. Two very nice dudes from the 4Runner Classifieds Facebook page hooked it up and it didn't cost me a lot. They shipped to me this week, so I put the cursed roof rack on this Sunday. Ironically/hilariously enough, there are two sets of conflicting directions (even though putting on cross bars should be a breeze), so after sorting through that nonsense, they went right on in no time.

Easy mod, but took months of tracking the effing parts down, since there isn't an actual part number. This is with two people at a Toyota dealership helping me as well.

Installed the Accessorides Plug and Play Remote Start today.
Just as others have said, you will spend WAY more time taking the dash apart, zip tieing up the wires, and putting the dash back together.
All in all not bad at all, beats splicing into 27 wires!!!
I love that it works with the factory keyfob.

You are now the internet's subject matter expert on that rack and crossbar components.

Sounds like a lot of work to track it all down, but so worth it.

yes and no. the 10-13 TE cross bars are available through toyota, but they don't come with those h blocks. Allegedly the h blocks would be included if you bought the 10-13 TE roof rails from toyota, but then you have an extra set of rails and the rails are expensive just to get like a $20 ish dollar set of parts...and on top of that, there is no part # for the actual h blocks (and no one at the dealer had even heard of them, even after i explained it more than once with photos). PLUS, on the 10-13 TE there are "tie downs" which go on the outside of the rails...and the dealer was convinced these were the parts i needed. i took a small delight in finally tracking down the h blocks and then texting the photos to my old man (retired, drives the shuttle at the dealer) and the guys at the dealership!

    oh the list....!
I too, have a yellow top story. Mine is from a bread truck acquisition down in South Carolina, where the local mechanic told me" You can have that battery, I hate those" It is from 2007? and it is still good. Today. Have bought two more for mine and the wife's cars, but the jury is still out on them. I have also heard many stories from people that expected the same durability/reliability that they got originally. Seems the general consensus is that quality went to absolute crapola when production left the US and went to Mex........ But, their reps vehemently deny this attribute that repeated real world users report.

3.5 lift all around. King in the front OME in the rear.. Other stuff..ya know, 4runner stuff...
I'm going to be making my own ladder soon out of 1" square tube. By soon, I mean spring. I'm getting excited about it. I've been drawing up the plans and buying the material. I don't have a tubing bender right now, so unless I get one, the bends will be angle cuts and welds. I am drawing up a plan with cuts and another with bends, just in case I decide to buy a bender between now and then. I'm also going to make it a quick release. I am experimenting with a few ways to do that so that it is still solid and doesn't wobble or squeek.

Press lock 3 times and it starts, press 3 times again if you want to shut it off.
You have to press a bit slowly though, I do about one a second. If you just triple press fast the 4R wont recognize all 3.
They also offer single button remotes, 1000 ft, 1500 ft. and a phone app version.

Installed a Raingler Cargo Celing Attic Net a few days ago. Pretty happy with it so far. It will be a good place to store jackets, blankets, and other light weight things out of the way.
