Each vendor I think states the rating for pulling. Although I think Victory 4x4 writes a disclaimer on pulling, not sure why. I think C4 does claim their bumper system is rated for towing. There is a video out there by one of our members towing a pretty good size trailer with one these bumpers. If i find the link i will put it here.

This rear bumper thing has always been in my santa list.....one day! :annoyed:

I pulled a U-Haul trailer from Texas to Oregon with my 4x4labs bumper. Smooth. Easy.

The bumper manufacturers are reluctant to get their bumpers rated because they have to donate a few to the process and there is not an advantage for them since we do not commonly shop for towing, instead for Offroad prowess. They generally build them strong enough and may even overbuild them. Depends on the company.

unfortunately, I do not recommend the 4x4labs. Bad fit and bad support.

    See this post: https://www.4runners.com/threads/wh...-gen-4runner-today.2261/page-1273#post-711582

the bumper is 1” wider than the truck on both sides, leaving a gaping gap. Looks great from far, the gap is crappy. Luke would not return calls to discuss or help. I put in a 1” door seal to fill and it is ok. I Don’t recommend!

also does not sit straight and the truck has no damage to cause it. Had a local, reliable shop install and they could not find a cause, except the bumper.
