    IMG_7777.jpg So,

I was decking out the interior of my runner with matte black overlays. I ordered a Dasaita head unit off cartinhome and instead of the matte finish, they sent me gloss. It took weeks to get here so I just said F it and installed it. Now, here’s the question the has stirred many brave men awake at night.

Should I make the temperature control nob sections matte or make it gloss to match the unit?

I ordered matte and propped it up and I just don’t know.

    Thoughts?

I like the matte finish. Plus you won’t get as much sun glare.

You don’t think the gloss black of the radio with the matte climate control pillar overlays look wired together?

I was only considering was the operational aspects. Plus, finger prints and smudges will be more predominant with the gloss.

As far as aesthetics, that’s gonna be your call, it’s your car.

I just remembered overlays exist for the radio itself… oops.

It’s only been a few days but good so far. The internal mic sucks and I hate the little third party one they give you so I’m waiting one from Enfig to get here that fits into our oem slot. I did get a little CarPlay maps slow down the other day but that was fixed with just connecting it. I’ve read adding a supplemental CarPlay dongle is useful.

Came here for the responses in iambic pentameter...

I sought for rhythm, measured and so sweet,
In verses built on iamb's gentle sway,
But found instead a rhythm quite incomplete,
And left, alas, in sorrow's dark array.
