Where do you live? I bought a 2018 TRD OR Base for $34,499 back in August, in Charlotte, NC. $37k for an SR5 seems steep, unless the 2019’s are all more expensive now.

Seems high, but you’ll have to shop around CO to see if it’s on par.

    *EDIT*
I checked the website of the dealership I purchases mine at, and most SR5 4x4 models are around $37k. I’m surprised it’s that high.

i don't know how to negotiate more. Local dealers don't negotiate on 4runners . they say - here is our lowest, go shop around.

I’ve always been told to go within the last 4-5 days of the month, because dealerships have sales quotas that if they hit, they get like $20k bonuses. Therefore, if they need 1-2 more and there are only 2 days left in the month, they may be willing to take a loss on the car to hit that quota.

Out the door, I think that's a pretty good deal. You can probably get it roughly $1,000 cheaper if you're willing to travel out of state.

I bought a 2018 SR5 premium 4x4 for about $1,000 less in AZ. Where I live, MSRP was $39,000 and dealers weren't budging much on the price. It was well worth it for me to go out of state and save $5,000.

But is going out of state worth $1,000? For me no, but it might be for you.

A trade saved me a bit in taxes, but I was at just a tick over $37k OTD on a SR5 Premium at Boulder Toyota, before factoring in trade equity. MSRP was $41,454. Dealers will deal in CO on 4Runners. Mountain States was around the same price, but didn't have the colors I preferred.

Looks like SR5s for the most part are going around $36k, before factoring taxes/tags/etc. I'd say you're getting a fair deal.

SR5 Premiums 4wd w/moonroof, foglamps, navigation were between 37-39k here in metro Atlanta. Sticker was 41k. I got mine right at 37k. With tax and everything it came out to 40k.

    I’d say $37k OTD is a deal.

OTD is a variable cost comment. sticker price, then the dealership price deal..that would be more helpful.
these deals should state what the runner price is, not including taxes/registration/and other costs of the state .

I got 2K below sticker price SR5 premium. does not include taxes /registration /inspection sticker .....$35K

41K for your sr5 pre is too high sticker price...should be 38K-39K ..

The sticker price is what comes from the factory, with the transportation cost to the dealer location. Every 4Runner Premium I shopped (same options) had a sticker of of 41k. That sticker matched kbb suggested retail. The multiple dealers I worked with all came down to around $37 and $39k before taxes etc. Not sure what options your vehicle had or didn’t have to have a sticker of 37k. Perhaps metro Atlanta is not be the best place to purchase a new 4Runner early in the model year, either way, this was my first Toyota purchase experience.

Agreed! OTD is misleading due to location. In the Seattle area, we're near 10% tax and registration fees were near $700. For reference, although not the same model, I just purchased a 19’ TRD ORP w/KDSS for $39.7k before all of the tax/fee gouging. I used some AZ price quotes to help negotiate.

I bought a 2019 SR5 Premium Tuesday for $37k out the door. They will not have any real deals on the 19's until later in the year and even then they dont have to offer incentives to sale 4runners.

end of month you will have a better deal..
I did my deal the last day in june salesman / dealership very good.
what was really odd about this purchase was 2 months prior to the purchased the dealership ordered my 4ruuner with what I wanted. .. no deposit .. called me when it was coming off the truck. next day did the deal in 5 min .. I still do not believe it .
