Lol oh ya the 4R and I are both OK because I actually made that turn, I knew it was coming, I had three buddies all transfer weight to the driver side and we continued down deeper into the forest.

That's the Matanuska Glacier. It's pretty badass to drive out on the lake and around the old calved icebergs. I won't run that trail in summer though...all the mud is mixed with glacial silt, and that stuff will fuck your suspension up in a hurry. Lol

We were up too. We have a cabin in Greer and wanted to make sure we still have a cabin in Greer... I presume you were away from the fire area?
It was actually pretty nice up there because of the fire as they had just reopened to owners only so it was nice and quiet without all the visitor shenanigans.
No pics for me though. We pretty much worked all weekend.

 

Bear canyon lake

I initially wanted to go to Greer as it’s literally my favorite place in AZ and I go several times per year (I’m jealous you have a cabin there).
But because of the wildfire, albeit contained, I ended up stopping a little before around Bear canyon lake instead.
