    Gonna drain my koi pond to help eliminate the damn snake. Will temporarily transfer the koi (that's left) and the water plants to these pools. The koi pond needed a good cleaning anyway.

    It's most likely a harmless ringed water snake. My idea is to make it undesirable to live here and move away. I've drained the koi pond & will leave it dry for a few weeks. Kind of like turning the water off to get squatters to leave.

    I went out after a rain to walk my dog last night. The dog alerted to something she didn't like by one of the temporary koi pools. I made a quick attempt to catch it but it was quick and aggressive. I did a quick war dance on it and the snake saga was over.
