Lunar Rock 3rd row?

My wife is hellbent on a Lunar Rock 4Runner with a 3rd row. I cannot seem to find one anywhere. Do they exist? If so, how does one find it?

 

First I'd say - yes, they do exist (pretty sure...). Second, I'd say good luck finding one... LR is a color nobody wants to get rid of because it's just that uber-cool. Only suggestion I have is to set up an automated search in Autotrader that shows the color you want. You can add 3rd row seat as a search option in the Advanced Search panel, but I'd probably have it feed me everything and then go through it. There won't be many. You can put in a request at Carvana and national network sellers like that too. It'll be a journey... so, prepare to be patient. Good luck!

 

Third row is only avalable in sr5 and limited trim I believe. Not sure they've done either of those trims in lunar rock. I could be wrong through.

 

I don't think Luna Rock came on Limited or even SR5. I think it was available in Trail, TRD Sport & other TRD trims. I could be wrong.

I almost read is as "LR is a color nobody wants". LoL. Probably because my wife and kid don't like it. Same for the luminous green & orange. Its very nice some people like that color including OPs wife. May be she would be happy with a TRD trim without a 3rd row. Unless 3rd row is an absolute must like our family using 3rd road sometimes.

 

Good catch, definitely no SR5’s got the fun colors and I can’t find a trace of any Limited models coming in LR.

I've seen a 2022 Trail Special Edition (SR5) in Lunar Rock.

Went looking and you’re right! seems the Trail Special edition came solely with the cargo tray though

 

So the question now is, which one gets the nod? 3rd row or Lunar Rock...?

 

Get the color you want, then add a 3rd row. I’ve seen them for sale, just need to source one. Install is not that hard.

no. The TRD Sport is not available with 3rd row. You can buy all the stuff and install 3rd row into any 2 row 4R though, they are all modular, the bolt holes and stuff are all there.

This is the go-to. You can buy the plastic and 3rd row stuff at any junk yard just gotta find the parts. You can swap everything over in about 2 hours.
