My new to me 2017 4R has hit 55k miles. The books that came with it say to change the spark plugs at 120k miles? That seems like kind of a long time to me. Also, I can't find any mileage schedule for changing the coolant or the tranny fluid. I did find the interval for changing the differential fluid for 2WD but can't seem to find it now. I remember it saying to change the diff fluid at 30k to 60k miles which I did at 54k miles. Anyway...Should I wait til 120k to change out the plugs? And when is a good time to change the tranny fluid and the coolant. I live in So Cal just north of LA. and the first owner lived in Ventura so there has been no "heavy usage" on the truck. Don't know if that matters or not. Thanks for your thoughts.

Nothing to stop you from changing your plugs whenever you want.

I’ll probably target 90-100k miles myself.

I did radiator petcock drain/fills for coolant more frequently but it’s also less complete of a change each time so pick your poison.

I’m probably going to do transmission early but 60k is good. Heck, you probably can still get a solid life by never touching it but I’m too particular for that.

Fo not forget brake fluid and power steering fluid. You might be still using original brake pads. Too many shops do not do new fluid when new pads are installed. And the brakes are used to control wheel spin for the Trac, A-trac, and VSC. So I always change my pads early. There are good posts here about brakes. I always use original brake models purchased from dealers. And I avoid the Toyota budget models.
