2007 4Runner vibrating

My 2007 4Runner is shaking/vibrating? I just installed new rear shocks and had my tires aligned and I’m still having a shaking/vibrating issue. What else could it be? I put new tires on less than a year ago and the mechanic said it could be tire splitting? I’m ready to give up and sell the dang thing. HELP!

I had it looked at earlier and the guy told me I had a wheel seal leak on the back right passenger tire. He didn’t think that was the cause of it but said he would charge me $650 to fix it.

 

You need a new "guy". He doesn't know what the problem is

You need a "new guy". Do some troubleshooting or pay someone to do some for you. You need to know what the problem is then you can work on fixing it.

 

WTH is a wheel seal leak? Is that like the almost hidden tire leak I had, due to surface corrosion on one of my 21 yr old 4Runner's rims? The guy at America's Tires simply cleaned it off...probably with wire brush or light grit sandpaper something...it worked. Yes...you do need a new guy. Unless something was lost in the communication and he meant axle seal.

Does this happen at a certain speed? Under braking only? Only when turning in a certain direction?

More information would be very helpful. What speed, is it constant or does it vary by speed, any change when you brake, any change when you turn, etc.

 

How much are you asking for it? I know I’m an ass hole.
