First post although I have appreciated the forum's information for a while.
I got some Cooper Road+Trail AT tires a few weeks back and really like them. I initially tried the Cooper Rugged Trek which looked amazing but I could never get them to balance right (even with road force balancing and an alignment).
I couldn't find much info with the Road+Trail ATs via 4Runner reviews but they ride smoothly and quietly. I am very satisfied.

Getting ready to mount a set of these on my 4R. They have great reviews on Tire Rack, and I'm glad you second what they have said.

Those look good for a less aggressive option  I've had my stock size Rugged Treks for a little over 20k miles with zero issues. Luckily the shop that installed my leveling kit balanced the tires perfectly (or so it seems)

Welcome. :tumbleweed: My son put these on his 2015 and he really likes them for the same reasons you said - quiet and smooth ride.

there is a manufacturer cash rebate on them right now ($75 I think)..... if you were not aware or didn't take advantage of it you can probably still submit the rebate form online with a scan of your receipt

I will probably go this route on my daughter's Tacoma this Fall. Those look great on your 4Runner.

Thank you, yeah I'm assuming there was a manufacturing defect on one of the Rugged Trek tires. They had to use a ton of weights to try and balance one of the tires but no-go. Oh well, I like these also. I'm just glad to be rid of the stock tires. They were terrible.

I got these tires installed on my 4Runner last week and I've been pretty happy with them.

They have good siping, should do well in winter weather.

Welcome from Wisconsin! We have had Coopers on our last 4 or 5 vehicles, they have been real good with the exception of 1 tire, which proved to be a balance issue, tire was replaced with a new 1, good to go.

I've had a set of these on my 4Runner for about 3,500 miles, and I've got nothing but good things to say about them. Traction is great in the wet and the dry and in the little bit of dirt I've been in. I've got no vibrations, wobbles or distracting road noise. For me, the perfect set of tires is one that looks good and that I never notice or have any reason to think about when driving, and these fit that description.

I assume the Coopers are available in LT (10 ply rated)? That would be a requirement for me.
