3 Year/36,000 Mile Warranty

    I want to know if you buy a used Toyota, does the remaining 3 year/36,000 mile warranty continue with the next owner of the vehicle until it reaches one or the other parameter?

    Yes, when you buy a used Toyota that still has remaining coverage on its factory warranty (the 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty or the 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty), that coverage typically continues to transfer to you, the new owner. The warranty is tied to the vehicle's VIN, not the owner.
