Hoping the blue is bright enough. I liked the look, especially with the dark grey vehicle, and I figured anything would be brighter than stock! Going to install them tomorrow.

I like the look, not super bright so if you like it bright, this is not the color for you.

Just swapped out my interior for LED's as well. Went with the cool white as opposed to blue. Wondering if you notice any difference in light output? Is it quite a bit brighter with the blue? The white puts out a ton of light. Looks great!

The blue is not bright but puts out a bright enough light to make a choice to have a color and have less brightness than stock, or close to stock, or go with a brighter white output for more light. It would be great if the blue was a bit brighter, but I don’t mind the subtle blue tones. I did not change the vanity bulbs...for now left them OEM white.

Nice man. I did the exact same. From the same place even. Im a blue nut hugger. I did blue everywhere, except the mirror lights, and licence plate lights, and i put white in the vanity mirrors. But other than that, blue errrrrywhere.
    20180914_214746.jpg

And i effin love it. If i want some brighter white light for what ever reason, i use the vanity mirrors, but the blue provide me plenty, and i love the blue/look. Love it.

Yep. For sure mate. To each their own,.....

I am bumpin this, to ask, if anyone has had issues with the license plate LED's pooping out??? Ive had mine,.. mmmmm, about 7 months. Went in reverse the other night, and my back up camera showed me, that one bulb shit the bed. This was about 3 days ago. Now, the other one, is blinking off and on. Was thinking about just going back to halogen stockers or the like, just in that location, if the LED ones are not happy back there. All the interior lights, have been killer,... so far.
Anyone else have the out side ones not be all that happy ? TIA

Philips Ultinon (Amazon) or Sylvania Zevo (local) 921's are great bulbs for the license plate. I've been using Zevos for years and never had a problem. I'm on my first set of Philips and still doing fine after 6 months.

I have a pair of JDMastars in mine for over a year without any problems. I also have them in my backups, puddle lights and interiors. So far they seem to be solid.

I just ran up, at lunch, grabbed some from Orileys, and stuck in there for meow right in the parking lot.

Are the LED's a bit more frail i wonder? Bit, lil bit of moisture in the lens. Car washes and all that jazz, plus, slamming that back door over and over. I dunno. Just stuck some stockers in there. The burnt out one, and blinking one, was a monster "PULL MY ASS OVER" blinking sign, I dont want no part of. Ill sniff those other out later you tossed up. Spanks man.

Ill check em out. Kinda bummed about the LEDs shitting the bed so soon ... meh...

    The same 4Runner everyone has
If they're made well, LED bulbs are much more robust than regular tungsten filament bulbs and will last for decades. If they're made poorly, like with poor connections on the circuit board, they'll crap out after use.

The ones I mentioned are covered with plastic lenses and don't have open diodes like a lot of the kit bulbs and inexpensive bulbs. All around better quality bulbs.
