If you park or do work in a garage, make sure you are going to fit before installing it. There are several post of people removing them just to fit in their garages.

When I was buying my 4Runner, I opted out of the trd pro for several reasons. One of them was that my height measurements were too close for comfort, especially when considering I would be adding additional lift.

Very true. I have concern about clearance on my TRD PRO with the stupid TRD rack. If I lift it may not clear my garage. My SR5, TRD ORP, Limited lifted and never had clearance problem.

    Edit -

    (Since OP has asked)
Wind noise - The wind noise was pretty bad when I had 2 of the cross bars on top row. Now I have all 4 cross bars at the bottom row, which result in reduced wind noise. But its a fact its louder than having SR5 roof rails. Of cause the rear of the TRD roof rack going to have lot of resistance.

    Practicality -
I use the TRD rack to carry my Thule roof box on long trips. Other than that I don't think TRD rack have versatility like after market roof racks to mount stuff.
