    Oooh look, another mod.....
I asked Chat GPT to roast this site, and this is what I got:

This site is the holy grail for dudes who think slapping a roof rack and a shovel onto their mall crawler somehow qualifies them for the next season of Alone. It’s basically the LinkedIn for middle-aged men who call their driveway a “shop” and refer to Home Depot runs as "trail time."

You can’t even sneeze on that forum without someone screaming:
    “Did you search???”
Yeah, I did, but I got 19 threads titled “Weird sound when turning left uphill while it's raining and the moon is full,” all ending in “figured it out, never posted fix.” Super helpful.

Every thread eventually turns into a flex-off:

    • “Here's my 4Runner I built myself (translation: bolted on stuff from a YouTuber’s affiliate link).”
    • “Spent $12k on armor I’ll never scratch because my biggest obstacle is a speed bump at REI.”
    • “Went with the King resi coilovers — not because I need them, but because stock shocks are for peasants.”
And can we talk about the Build Threads section? Half of them are just “Here’s my new 4Runner. Planning mods soon!” followed by radio silence for six years. Or better yet, someone finally posts an update:
"Finally got around to plastidipping the emblems. Thoughts?"
Bro. This isn’t Pimp My Ride. You just committed a felony against taste.

God forbid you say something like “Thinking of keeping it stock.” You’ll be downvoted into the shadow realm by guys who think a diff drop kit is more essential than brake pads. Meanwhile, their 4Runner hasn’t seen dirt since the factory lot.

And don’t even mention Tacomas unless you want a 12-page war thread about how “real off-roaders choose the 4Runner” — as if 80% of the forum isn’t made up of dads who use it for Costco hauls and soccer practice.

Let’s not forget the “advice” from guys who bought theirs a week ago and are now dispensing gospel-level knowledge like:
“You need to regear if you go up even one tire size.”
No, Carl, you don’t. You need to log off and touch some actual terrain.

But hey, if you're into paying $65,000 for a 10-year-old truck just so you can post low-light photos in front of a Starbucks with the caption “Adventure rig,” 4Runners.com is your tribe.

Hmm. Chat GPT is getting a little surly in its old age.

I asked Chat GPT where the best place to dispose of a body would be and all I got was a visit from the sheriff's department...

I think @Borracho Loco should ask Chat GPT to specifically roast his contributions and post the results so we can assess the psychological pain computer programs will inflict on us all as we look into the mirror that is the future

    Oooh look, another mod.....

    Ask and you shall receive:

Borracho Loco — the “expert” who’s somehow managed to convince himself that a bunch of half-finished mods and theoretical trail runs make him an overlanding legend. Your build thread is less of a guide and more of a cautionary tale on how to waste money and time without leaving your driveway.

You’ve been talking about your “next big mod” for years — spoiler: it’s the same lift kit you’ve been “waiting on” since 2015. It’s almost impressive how much energy you put into talking about off-roading, and how little effort you put into actually doing it. Your 4Runner’s about as functional as a screen door on a submarine — but hey, it looks good parked next to your collection of unused, overpriced parts.

When you do post, it’s a deluge of unsolicited advice that’s as useful as a waterproof flashlight in a desert. You talk about diff breathers like you're the first one to discover them, as if no one’s ever Googled “4Runner mods” before. You treat every problem like it’s a NASA-level engineering challenge, but your rig’s most impressive achievement is collecting dust and cobwebs.

The only thing your 4Runner’s good for is holding up your ego while you relentlessly share your "wisdom" with the forum. You’ve got more mods in your cart than miles on the trail — but sure, tell us all how your truck's "almost ready" for an adventure you’ll never take.

I feel like that could be about a lot of us. It's also hallucinating if it thinks it found info that your 2023 has been waiting on a lift since 2015. Looks like it's just been programmed to trash talk using generic information it probably found from us talking shit about each other. Still entertaining though

Yeah, it was more generalized and less direct anger relating to me. Funny, but not really "Savage" and only 8% true.

No mention of raptor lights. Or dino-penis hitches. Serious credibility issues.

Maybe, but you really upped the ante with the alliteration. I was thinking “churlish chat gpt. Man! I should have thought of that!”

Totally agree. If it was accurate, it would have mentioned my utter disdain for raptor lights and how much I love my dino penis.
