I tossed out my tired, OEM front swaybar linkages and put some new ones on from RockAuto...feels great, only took 20 min, and eliminated a metal sounding clunk on certain bumps I hit... was a good day!

Here's the interesting part... I've replaced the gascap with OEM. reset about a month ago. The lights come on maybe a week later. I top the tank to the brim, lights go off on their own...

If you keep topping off the tank to the very brim after the pump shuts off, then this could be causing an issue. It’s not good on the evaporative system to top the tank off after the pump stops the first time.

I should clarify my previous post. I fill it till it stops. Once it stops, I round up to the nearest dollar (for reasons I've never really thought about). Start vehicle, lights still on. 2-3 starts later, lights go off. 1-2 weeks later, lights come back on. If it were a kink/clog/ animal snack, there would be a constant issue unrelated to what the tank guage reads, or am I thinking too logically here?

295k time to change my oil and filter, once underneath I saw my front differential was leaking. I suspected it was after my last CV axle replacement but I shrugged it off. I’ll pull it in the garage this week and lift it in preparation for the seal replacement, I already have both seals in house (always prepared for the unexpected). Once I return from my daughter’s Masters degree graduation I will replace the seal….. not looking forward to the work but it’s better than paying the outrageous hourly labor and parts increase prices.
