Hi, a rock hit my front collision sensor cover and took a huge chunk of the plastic. All videos on how to pull off the bumper(doesn’t include wheel well or how to disconnect fog lights) or grill(mine is not one big piece, there is more holding it on than the videos show) are not working for my vehicle and I am NOT a “car person” and may be using incorrect terms. Does anyone have any experience being able to swap it out with just removing the radiator cover plastic? :(

    Oooh look, another mod.....
The plastic cover plate is part of the grille.

I am trying to replace this cover piece only. However, the inside makes it difficult to reach the clips and I cannot tell if something is actually screwed into the cover plate or the cover plate just has holes to fit around them. Even if I was able to pinch the little clips in, would I even been able to yank it off?!

I can't be completely sure since I don't have a Limited, but I expect that you have to remove the front bumper. I do know that on the later models with Toyota Safety Sense, you need to remove 4 screws and the TSS connector to remove the front bumper. This isn't shown in many of the videos out there because they were made using older and/or non-Limited models.

What it came down to was I removed the bottom screw you circled on both sides and yanked, like YANKED, the plastic off outside. There was an additional top screw somewhere(three screw holes in the new plastic cover). And just put it back on with two without taking the bumper off. So minus one screw in… oops, but saved a lot of frustration!
