Sup guys. I am looking into possibly buying a 4th gen 4 runner going to check one out tomorrow. It is a 2003 V8 Limited 4x4. The price to me seems quite high for the age but I get that these are hard to come by in this good of condition based on the ad. The rig looks mint. Wanted some feedback from people who have owned 4th gens and what to look for with this one specifically or all v8 models, and also if the price is ridiculous and I should not pay that. Here is the link to the post. Any feedback helps. It has 213k miles timing belt has just been replaced.

Also wondering if 2003 is a bad year for the 4th gens being its the first year and if I should maybe look for something in the 2006-2009 range?

    Oooh look, another mod.....
It looks really damn good for a 22yr old vehicle. No rust. No flaking/fading paint. No dents or scratches. The interior looks really nice too (minimal wear) and it has new tires. PLUS, the coveted V8 and he did the timing belt service!

See if he'll come down to $11k. His price is a bit high, buuuuuuuuuuut, he has a very mint ride.

    That’s rare find,
    Is he original owner?
    Repainted ?
    Carfax?

    That’s high mileage
But if it’s been maintained as it appears in the vid & pics
My gut feeling is he’s a reseller, so do your homework he definitely has put money into fixing it up and it does look great but do your due diligence get a Carfax and if you could have a mechanic look at it, it would be worth it
