I am currently considering the replacement of the steering wheel on my 2016 5th Generation 4Runner. Before proceeding with an order from the dealership, I would greatly appreciate any insights or recommendations you may have regarding this process.

Typically when I order things I have to put in my credit card and bill to as well as shipping to information.

I recommend that you get the bill to correct or the credit company might not process the order.

I very much recomend that you to get the ship to information correct so you get the product.

Usually I dont like to save my credit card to any sites except for a very large company like Amazon. Reason is, its staggering how many companies get hacked every day and if they have your card that will get stolen and now you have to deal with that nonsense.

Companies like Amazon can afford a crap ton of cyber security solutions.

I stopped saving my credit card to my accounts online and I haven't had fraud since. Its been 10 years. (Knock on wood)

So finally, I recommend you dont save your card to the account you might have to make to place the order.

This is the 4th gen forum, but no harm no foul

Long as you confirm fitment with the dealership you shouldnt have issues. Reason why youre replacing? As for install, if the dealer is doing it then easy peasy. If youre doing it its a little involved, if only to make sure you maintain alignment. Removal and reinstall isnt terrible, youtube is your friend. Also a good repository of info, and an example Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel Upgrade & Install 5th Gen 4Runner
