I live in Broward County. I’ve owed 4 wheel trucks for many years, but haven’t 4 wheeled in over 10 years. Recent purchased a 2024 4Runner and can’t find a place to run it through its paces. Any recommendations?

JW Corbett and three lakes wilderness preserves are fun. These seem interesting living in Broward.

From your screenshot - I did Big Cypress loop off 41, and Turner River Road, and whatever other dirt I could find just by exploring around the Everglades a couple months ago. It was all just simple dirt roads and nothing technical at all. Still fun.

It’s mostly what you’ll come across here honestly… depending on the weather and how much of the road they cleared out you may see a little dirt all the way to a lot of mud lol

I was just down in Florida for 4 months in Ft Myers. We drove all over and our conclusion is Florida has lame off roading. No offense Floridians but we couldn’t find any and we actively sought it out

Unless you got a lifted truck with large tires and love mudding it is fairly lame in south Florida for sure. Can’t have everything lol

No listen. Not disrespecting Floridians but like I said, the wife and I sought out places to off roading and had some that were just muddy roads. Which I don’t mind but the hours and hours spent cleaning the mud off wasn’t worth the experience. In all fairness we went from Moab to Florida so we went from the gold standard of off roading to Florida.

Born and raised Floridian, now Coloradan. The nature in Florida is terrible compared to other regions of the country. Wheeling was not on my radar when I lived there but other than out and out mudding I would be highly surprised if someone told me about good off roading in the sunshine state. The entire state is flat other than some modest hills in Tallahassee.
