I'm going to smash my head into the wall soon. Looking to bypass my '23 LE JBL amp with an Audison AF C8.14 bit. I have the Maestro AR2 plus the Audison to Maestro AUD4 preamp cord. Running the AF bit software successfully. Going through the setup wizard and only 2 preamp inputs are showing a signal. WTF? I've finalized my setting and now I can't get any output on the amp.

    1. I figured the head unit would show 4.1...or maybe 5...or 4... inputs. Why am I only seeing 2?
    2. Why the hell can't I get it to route to the outputs? I've set the EQ and mapped all of the outs. It's gotta be some super simple button I have not clicked.

I'm going back through the Audison AF bit videos for the 3rd time now.

Hi. Were you able to resolve the issue?
I came across a video on the maestro youtube channel and from what I can tell, you can use an optical cable instead of the preamp cord. Not sure if that is causing your issue.

I have a '23 Tacoma w/ JBL and will be installing a M8.14. I purchased the AR2 and HRN-AR-TO3 Harness from Crutchfield. I wasn't aware of the AUD4 cable. I'll be trying with optical first and hope it works.

Yes and no. Long story short I had to use all of the supplied RCA cables without the AUD4 cable if I recall. I'll get my full story up soon. It was an adventure. I have a post on am audio forum that has some interim details. Let me find it.

Found it. To your question about the toslink it doesn't automatically work. I ran out of patience troubleshooting and just went RCA and put everything back together. I've got access to it and will test out the toslink...but may have you be the guinea pig if you want. I've got the steps and the tech contact at iDatalink for you. Both Audison and iDatalink were amazing BTW

Forgot to to mention the videos are not fully accurate.... Or helpful for the AR2. iDatalink told me I was the first person to call trying to do what I did with the AR2 and the C8.14 I'll look for a photo of the final connection setup.

Here is my final connection setup. White plug top left goes into the speaker out. You need to analog remote on with the blue wire.

With this set up are you able to avoid running new wires into doors and deck for the new speakers?

Si senor. I didn't want to mess with running new wires... However, one thing confused me and I'm not sure if it's just a Limited thing or not. I thought the front tweeters and front door speakers were wired in parallel. However, when I was testing the unique channels, I have a total of eight channels plus the sub. Since my amp is a 8 channel amp I ended up having to combine the back door hatch and the back door speakers onto the same channel so that I had one left for the sub.
