Found a local tire shop near me that’s selling Falken At4’s 265/70/r17 (2884-4300) for $750 with installation. Should I be skeptical ?

Seems like that shop is wanting to move a set quick, Really good price for a set installed, new.

If they are new, I would be concerned of the age, So I would check the date code on the sidewall.

If they are indeed the AT4's and not the AT3s you don't have to worry about the date code because the AT4s is haven't been around long enough to go bad. That being said I took a gamble on some new "old" stock general grabber x3s once on my Tacoma that were 7 years old and they seemed to be fine. There was no cracking and they didn't show any negative behaviors. Definitely is a gamble though when you buy old tires.

Ooh that’s true. Do the At4’s say at4 anywhere on the tire or is it only on the sticker

That is a newer tire that was released in the Q1 of 2024. So matter how old it is, it won't be older than that. Just make sure every tire is the same size & same brand etc

Here is a thought as well, are they LT tires or SL. Price difference for sure. Seems reasonable if they are SL .
