    2025 4Runner TRD Sport
I finally converted after looking at several 4Runners for the last 2 years. Sold my 2017 Tacoma TRD Sport that just felt like a slog at times and picked up a 2025 4Runner TRD Sport.

So far I am loving the low throttle response and how much more comfortable it is to drive after being in a Tacoma for 8 years. I realize its no longer a V6 and its getting alot of hate for being a 4 banger but time will tell on how reliable these will be. ( Hopefully this forum not as toxic as tacomaworld lol)

Anyways, looking forward to learning more about 4Runners in general and adding some mods once some become more available.

I love the Sport, the way the rims fill the tirewell.

as long as you do every upgrade that the herd tells you to and don't do the ones they hate, you'll be fine.......oh just like tacomaworld. Lol.

Welcome. I think the hate will diminish once the 6th Gen has established a track record and become more of a known quantity. But there will always be a healthy amount of angst on this board. We’re a nit-picky bunch. But *mostly* good natured.

ETA: as you actually own a 6th Gen you have more expertise and are better able to comment than 95% of the naysayers. Don’t be shy. Post up your impressions.
